Fairmont Algonquin
For over 100 years, golfers have tested their skills at this charming seaside resort in one of Canada’s Historic Districts.
Ranked by Score Magazine (2006) in the Top 100 Courses in Canada, Best in New Brunswick, this Seaside Masterpiece created by Thomas McBroom features a dynamic sequence of forested woodland front nine complemented by a picturesque seaside back nine. The 18 hole par 72 course ranges from 5,207 to 6,908 yards and will challenge golfers of all levels. With bent grass tees, fairway and greens the course offers a manicured look that is the perfect contract to the fescue rough and the rugged shoreline of the Bay of Fundy.
In the fall of 1998, Thomas McBroom was selected as the designer to redesign the course as a signature 18-hole course. On July 15, 2000, the full 18-holes were opened for play including a new clubhouse, exhilarating vistas of the Passamaquoddy Bay, the Town of St. Andrews and The Fairmont Algonquin Hotel. We invite all golfers to enjoy an exciting and challenging round of golf on grounds over 100 years old, filled with history, folklore and breathtaking views; where moments are turned into memories for you and future generations.
